Workshop
July 7 - July 13, 2002, Schloss Stein, Austria
From July 7 - July 13, 2002, you can learn how to
play the Styrian Harp at the Castle "Schloss Stein" in
Fehring, Austria. Lessons include harp music from the Alpine region,
(beginners to advanced levels), its various aspects of accompaniment,
a "Miniharp" course for children, and instruction in the
famous "Hook Harp" (pedalfree). You can also lern how
to build "small harps" (Gothic, Irish, Bohemian, Chromatic)
and other instruments. Free-time activities are dancing, singing,
hiking and swimming in a marvellous landscape. Language of instruction
is in German and English.
